The Fijian Government has introduced regulations that require all workers in both the public and private sector to obtain a COVID vaccination. You may be asked for proof of vaccination when entering businesses including restaurants, bars and hotels.

There is a nationwide curfew and everyone is required to remain at home or in their accommodation between midnight and 4am. You may also need to seek treatment there. This should be taken no more than 3 days prior to the day of departure. If you have been in a Fiji Travel Partner Country for the ten days prior to arrival in Fiji you will be required to stay for three nights in a Care Fiji Commitment property.

If you have been in a non-Fiji Travel Partner Country in the ten days prior to arrival in Fiji you will be quarantined for ten nights in a Fiji Managed Quarantine facility. These stays must be pre-booked.

From 1 December , Fiji will be open to all fully vaccinated travellers from Travel Partner Countries for quarantine free travel. This must be prepaid and the package must include CFC certified ground transfers from the airport. Before 11 November incoming travellers must stay at a Fiji Managed Quarantine facility based on conditions set by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

From 11 November through to 1 December , fully vaccinated permit holders, Fijian passport holders and returning residents will subject to a shorter three day quarantine in a Fiji Managed Quarantine facility. If transiting from Travel Partner countries, you may do so if you have a valid ticket, negative COVID test and are fully vaccinated. In-country conditions will apply. All foreign nationals who are currently unable to leave Fiji have been advised to contact Fiji Immigration Office so that they could be properly guided to maintain their legal status.

Travel into and out of these zones is restricted. Some boat services to and from Viti Levu remain suspended but some journeys have been approved under tight controls.

Only persons with a pass issued by the Ministry of Health are allowed through checkpoints between zones. Public transportation within the zones is available but limited to 50 percent seating capacity.

The Fijian government is encouraging most people to work from home, and to leave their houses only if essential. A nationwide curfew is in effect from 6pm to 4am each night.

Nightclubs remain closed and you must abide by the nationwide curfew which need you to remain in your home or accommodation between 6pm and 4am. Restrictions on movement remain in place in Viti Levu.
