But, for a class, I was exposed to about 20 great poets, and the professor was so great, she got me over the hump to actually embrace poetry now. I like it, because it has poetry. I can't say whether it is better or worse than other anthologies, since I've avoided them for years. It is a good source of a few poems, though I can hardly say it has even the most notable of all the poets included. Anthologies, then, seem convenient, but by no means breathtaking or conclusive.
